It's
hard to imagine a more enthusisastic turn out then years gone past,
but this years crowd was larger, more diverse and energetic than last
years.
With the registrations and formalities over, one of our most diverse
group of walkers proceeded down the main street, pooper scoopers in
hand, and onto the Show Grounds. Once again, many walkers and their
pets dressed up for the Walk. At the Show Grounds we were entertained
by the Fly Dog display and the variety of displays - including: Alpaca,
Light Horse, Hot FM, Chooks, Animal Training and much more.
The
Maleny Apex Club once again held a great BBQ, and delicious Vegetarian
food was supplied by the River school, with all money's raised donated
to RSPCA. Their cooking skills only surpassed by their smiling faces
and dedication to the local community.
Maleny
Veterinary Services would like to thank the Sponsors, and volunteers,
without whom we would not have such an enjoyable and safe day. Thanks
also goes to: Maleny's
Soldiers Memorial Hospital Auxiliary who provided morning tea at the
Surgery and who once again with registration.
Our
many thanks goes to those companies and organisations who donate products,
money or time to ensure the day runs smoothly and is enjoyed by all.
