Got a muddy adventurer? A beach-loving swimmer? Or just a dog who’s starting to smell a little… doggy? Our hydrobath service is an easy, fuss-free way to get your dog clean, fresh and comfortable without booking a full groom. Available Mondays to Fridays, hydrobaths are perfect for routine washes, post-park clean-ups, or supporting dogs with specific skin needs.
What exactly is a hydrobath?
A hydrobath is a specialised bathing system that pumps warm water and shampoo right through your dog’s coat. It gives a much deeper clean than a quick hose-down at home – especially for thick, double or long coats.
Think of it as a proper, professional wash that leaves your dog feeling lighter, fresher and fluffier (once they’ve dried, of course).
Hydrobaths are focused on thorough washing and skin care only.
They’re different from our dog grooming service, which includes clipping, styling, brushing and blow-drying. If your doggo is due for a haircut, our grooming team will be the right fit.

Hydrobaths are ideal for in-between grooms, active dogs who love getting dirty, or anyone who’d rather skip the bathtub wrestling match at home.
Important: air drying matters
For a hydrobath to work properly (especially when we’re using medicated or treatment shampoos) your dog needs to air dry naturally afterwards. This allows the shampoo to continue doing its job on the skin and within the coat.
Because of this, we don’t blow-dry dogs as part of the hydrobath service.
Your dog will be towel-dried before heading home, but they will still be damp and will finish drying naturally over the next few hours. We strongly recommend bringing a few towels to protect your car upholstery on the way home, particularly if your dog enjoys a good post-bath shake!
If you’d prefer your dog fully dried and styled before pickup, our grooming service may be the better option.

Do I need to book?
Are hydrobaths the same as grooming?
No. Hydrobaths are washing only. Grooming includes clipping, brushing, blow-drying and styling, and must be booked separately.
Will my dog be dry when I collect them?
Can you use medicated or flea shampoos?
Absolutely. If your dog has sensitive skin or a diagnosed skin condition, let us know when booking so we can plan the most appropriate shampoo. You may also supply your own shampoo for our nurse to use.
How often should my dog have a hydrobath?
Are hydrobaths suitable for dogs with skin issues?
Often yes, hydrobaths can be a helpful part of managing certain skin conditions. If your dog has ongoing skin concerns, we may recommend a consultation alongside their wash.
